Bobby aka K.S. Ravindra made a name for himself with Ravi Teja's Power, Jr. NTR's Jai Lava Kusa. But he could have been one of the most popular directors had his Sardar Gabbar Singh with Pawan Kalyan also became a good hit. He missed the chance but most of the blame went to Pawan Kalyan as Bobby filled the shoes of another director who has been working for 3 years almost on the project. As Pawan did not like the script till then, he took over the scripting and gave the direction to Bobby in the last minute.
Bobby could not really prove his mark but took all the responsibility for the failure. He could not have really been strong had three people did not call him post release. They gave him the confidence to recover and write a film like Jai Lava Kusa. Bobby shared what helped him after the release of the film, to feel needed and confident.
He said, "I wanted Sardar Gabbar Singh to be a huge success and genuinely believed it will be one. But after the release, many reviews came out to be negative. While I was feeling tensed, Pawan Kalyan called me and asked not to worry about the result and not to read reviews. After sometime, Ravi Teja called me and asked me to write a story for him. He said, he will immediately accept the film. Then, Sai Dharam Tej called me and asked, can he act in my movie? Teju did not even meet once but he made a great gesture to reach me out. I cannot really forget these three people. They are my heroes."
