Speculations are abuzz that 'Katamarayudu' will be releasing on May 31st, with a gap of four weeks from the release of 'Baahubali: The Conclusion'. However, The latest update makes it look utterly baseless.
As per sources close to the unit, 'Katamarayudu' would be releasing on Telugu New Year Ugadi, that's on March 27th. A healthy gap of 1 month is beneficial for both the biggies.
Pawan Kalyan will be seen as a Factionist in 'Katamarayudu'. Shruti Haasan is reprising the role of his lady love. Shiva Balaji and Kamal Kamaraju appear as PK's Brothers. Pawan Kalyan & Sharath Marar were jointly producing this venture.
Target for Powerstar is to wrap up the shoots of three films before he fully focusses on 2019 General Elections. He wishes to be free from any film commitments at least by 2018 Sankranti or Summer.
