Pawan Missed Sankranthi Hero Tag!

Sankranthi festival season is always special for Telugu films and audience. Star heroes and their fans feel proud to release the films in the Sankranthi season. Unlike other seasons, the competition will be very high in the Sankranthi season. Scoring a hit at the box office despite heavy competition is considered prestigious.
Pawan Kalyan, Nandamuri Balakrishna are the star heroes who are in the Sankranthi race this year. Though Pawan film carried huge expectations, the talk is not at all encouraging. The movie can post huge opening day figures but it is tough to break even considering the huge pre-release business according to the trade analysts. Surprisingly, Pawan lost an opportunity to be referred as a Sankranthi Hero tag with the result of 'Agnyaathavaasi'.
It is known that Pawan rarely competed in Sankranthi race in his career consisting of 25 films. 'Suswagatham'..'Balu'.. 'Gopala Gopala' and 'Agnyaathavaasi' are the films which were released during Sankranthi. Except 'Suswagatham', all the other films disappointed him at the box office and they could not get him Sankranthi Hero tag. In fact, he lost Sankranthi hero tag with the majority of the Sankranthi releases.
On the other hand, Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Jai Simha is hitting the screens tomorrow. Balayya scored most of his blockbusters during Sankranthi season. Considering the track record, he hass fair chances of repeating the history this year again.
