After many postponements, Mahesh Babu proudly announced 'Spyder' grand release for Dussehra 2017. Even Pawan Kalyan-Trivikram's Movie was supposed to release during this festival season. However, It may be pushed to Sankranthi 2018 and the clash could be avoided in that manner.
Whereas, Mahesh Babu-Koratala Siva's 'Bharat Anu Nenu' is aiming for Pongal 2018 release. If the shoot happens as per plan, The Box Office clash between #PK25 and #Mahesh24 looks inevitable.
Pre-Release Business of each of these biggies is expected to cross Rs 125 crore mark. So, Distributors and Exhibitors are worried about the huge investment at stake. Usually, Sankranthi season can accommodate 2-4 films if low-budget projects were involved but clash of two biggies isn't going to be fruitful. Why because, None of two films will be able to attain maximum benefit. Situation gets even worse if one or two small films release along with these star-studded movies.
