Perni Nani chairs key meeting with Tollywood members

In the light of the war of words between Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and the leaders of the ruling YSRCP, Andhra Pradesh Cinematography Minister Perni Nani chaired a crucial meeting with a few representatives of Tollywood on Wednesday. Some of the leading producers have reached Andhra Pradesh for the meeting.
The meeting was started in Andhra Pradesh’s Machilipatnam and producers like Dil Raju, DVV Danayya, UV Vamshi, Sunil Narang, and Naveen Yerneni attended the key meeting chaired by the Andhra Pradesh Minister.
Reports say that issues like the online ticket issue and other issues are expected to be discussed during the meeting today. Tollywood is having high hopes in the meeting that the issues faced by the industry would be ended.
On the other hand, the producers are also likely to request the Cinematography Minister to allow 100 percent occupancy in theatres like in Telangana so that the industry can come out of the losses it suffered during the pandemic period.
The meeting is the new development in the issue. Earlier, Pawan Kalyan made sensational comments against the Andhra Pradesh government and Chief Minister Jagan. The YSRCP leaders have hit back at Pawan Kalyan saying that the portal was announced to bring transparency in the ticket sales.
