Perni Nani Reveals Megastar's Regret Over Pawan's Statements!

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan created a huge storm at the pre-release event of Sai Dharam Tej's Republic'. He spoke for nearly an hour and he bashed the AP government and made some sensational statements which sent ripples all over. A lot of YSRCP politicians have given counters to Pawan's words and the leaders' reaction made the Tollywood bigwigs act in a defensive manner. Big names like Dil Raju, DVV Danayya, Mythri Naveen and others had a meeting with Andhra Pradesh minister Perni Nani once again in Machilipatnam after they previously met regarding the online ticketing and 50% occupancy in theatres.
After their second meeting, minister Perni Nani came in front of the media and made some interesting comments. He said that many filmmakers and producers talked with him over the past few days and claimed that they do not agree with Pawan's statements on AP government and YSR Congress Party. The biggest statement Perni Nani made is that Megastar Chiranjeevi called him from Ooty and stated, "Chiranjeevi garu said whatever happened at the event (Republic's pre-release) was unfortunate and should not have happened. He told me that neither he nor Tollywood representatives agree with Pawan's statements. He told me that he was shooting in Ooty and that he will talk to me in detail once he returns."
Nani guaranteed that their party's action will not be influenced by the comments made by on single person. Speaking about it, he said, "I requested the industry seniors to state the facts if and when an individual tries to propagate lies against the government. I also assured them that I will convey all their concerns to the CM and facilitate a better resolution at the earliest."
Perni Nani's press meet clearly revealed that Megastar Chiranjeevi who is considered as the face of Tollywood is not backing his younger brother's statements now. Not just Megastar but none of the Mega heroes made tweets or comments in support of Pawan Kalyan regarding this issue. We need to see if Pawan goes on like this in the coming days or not.
In the meanwhile, Pawan was supposed to promote 'Republic' at the movie's pre-release event made it all about himself and YSRCP. No one has been talking about Sai Dharam Tej's film.
