Man Arrested For Threatening Mohammed Shami's Estranged Wife

Indian cricketer, Mohammed Shami's wife Hasin Jahan has separated from the cricketer and living with her daughter for some time. A 25-year-old man from Kolkata has been making frequent phone calls to Jahan and threatening her. After the calls become unbearable, Jahan lodged a complaint to police on November 22.
The police have now arrested the 25-year-old man from Kolkata for threatening Jahan. The man was arrested from the Canning Station Road area for making several threat-calls over the last two months, demanding money from her.
"First it was Jahan's former domestic help who started threatening her. Then it was a man, alleging to be the woman's son demanded money and abused that otherwise, he will post her personal photographs and mobile numbers on social media," an officer said.
After scanning both the numbers from where Jahan was getting the calls, the police picked up the accused on Tuesday night. A case has been registered and they are also looking for the woman, who threatened Jahan.
