Petition To Stop Release Of 'Killing Veerappan'

A petition was filed in a Chennai high court asking that the release of RGV'S latest movie, Killing Veerappan be stalled. The petition was filed by a lady named Paneerselvi and the lady claims the film is full of false information on the forest brigand.
The petitioner said that the movie which was based on Veerappan was filled with wrong information and will create law and order problems in Tamil Nadu if allowed it to release into theatres.
In her complaint, Paneerselvi mentioned that the film showed Karnataka police in high manner and belittles Tamil Nadu Police and politicians.She also requested the CBFC to revoke the original 'U' certification of the film. The film has century star Shivarajkumar in the lead and it is helmed by the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma. The music is composed by the trio of Ravi Shankar, Munna Kasi and Rajasekhar Pannala.
