He went through a lot of physical transformation for movies like 'Deshamuduru', 'Badrinath', 'Naa Peru Surya' and others to suit the role.
Now, he is taking things to another level for this upcoming film 'Pushpa'. The first part titled 'Pushpa Part 1 - The Rise' is going to release on Christmas and Allu Arjun along with the entire team is working at a brisk pace to get the film ready by that time. As we know, he plays the role of a lorry drive named Pushparaj who smuggles red sanders under the nose of policemen from Nallamala forest. He is aiming at a nationwide market for the first time with 'Pushpa' and he is giving it his all.
Recently, a few pictures of Bunny from the shooting spot came out and he looks really rough and rustic. Allu Arjun is always known for his stylish looks which is why he was hailed as the 'Stylish Star' of South India all these years but he decided to shed that image for this movie. His brute look with messy hair and thick beard is making everyone awestruck. News is that Bunny is spending at least 2 hours in the makeup room to get into the look before the shooting begins which proves his dedication. Hope all his hard work pays off and the film becomes a super hit.
Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine while Malayalam star hero Fahadh Faasil will be seen in a negative role. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this project which will be released in multiple languages. Sunil, Anasuya and others play key roles. This movie marks the return of the 'Arya' trio. Sukumar-DSP-Allu Arjun has come together after 12 years. They last worked together on 'Arya 2.
