Versatile and talented Bollywood hero Ranveer Singh is currently immersed in the shooting of his next flick '83'. This film showcases the journey of the Indian cricket team which won the World Cup in 1983. Ranveer is playing the role of legendary all-rounder Kapil Dev who was our captain at that time.
The shooting of the film was wrapped up in Mumbai recently and celebrating this, the team released a picture of the energetic hero as Kapil Dev. In this picture, Ranveer looks like an exact replica of Kapil and he perfectly made an imposture of the iconic Natraj pose. Looks like the 'Gully Boy' hero went through a lot of makeover to get into the skin of the character. We get to see more of his hard work on 10th April 2020 on big screens.
His real-life wife, Deepika Padukone is playing the role of Kapil Dev's wife Romi Dev in this film and it includes may other known artists. Directed by Kabir Khan who made films like 'Bhajrangi Bhaijaan' and 'Ek Tha Tiger', this sports drama is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Deepika, Kabir, Madhu Mantena and Vishnu Vardhan Induri.
