Police Booked Jr NTR Fans For Threatening Actress

The Hyderabad police on Wednesday registered a case against Jr NTR fans for abusing actress Meera with their derogatory comments and threatening her with gang rape and acid attacks.
The issue started when the actress held an interaction session with her fans and during this session, a fan asked her about Jr NTR. For this, she replied that she doesn't know who is NTR and said that she is not his fan. She also said that she was a fan of actor Mahesh Babu. NTR fans got hurt by Meera's answer and started trolling her.
Upset over their below belt behaviour, Meera lodged a complaint online and the police registered the case.
As per Police report, a case has been registered under IPC 506 (criminal intimidation), and 509 (insulting the modesty of a woman) and section 67 of the Information Technology Act.
