Back in the day, Bhoomika, who was a top heroine in the early 2000s managed to set a rare record of sorts. The actress played the female lead in Jr NTR's Simhadri, Mahesh Babu's Okkadu, and Pawan Kalyan's Khushi. The coincidence is that these three films are the 7th respective projects in the careers of Jr NTR, Mahesh Babu, and Pawan Kalyan. It happened to be that all these three films were humongous box office blockbusters. And also, these films proved to be the turning points in the careers of Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, and Jr NTR. With these blockbusters, Bhoomika staked her claim as the top heroine at that point in time. Several years later, Pooja Hegde looks set to emulate Bhoomika's mighty rare feat.
Pooja Hegde had already played the female lead in Jr NTR's 28th project, Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. She is announced as the female lead in Mahesh Babu's 28th project, SSMB28, which will be helmed by Trivikram. She will be joining the sets of the Mahesh Babu starrer whenever the shoot commences. Also, Pooja Hegde is said to be the frontrunner for Pawan Kalyan's 28th project, PSPK28, which will be directed by Harish Shankar.
Harish Shankar gave Pooja her first big commercial success with Allu Arjun's DJ and she is more than willing to allot the dates for PSPK28 if Harish approaches her for the female lead. As things stand, Pooja Hegde is set to play the female lead in the 28th project of Jr NTR, Mahesh Babu, and Pawan Kalyan. Aravinda Sametha is a big box office hit already and both SSMB28 and PSPK28 are carrying sky-high expectations as well.
