After scoring successive hits, glamorous heroine Pooja Hegde has hit a rough patch recently. Her films like 'Beast', 'Radhe Shyam' and 'Acharya' have failed badly at the box office. Some people already started calling her an iron leg which is totally inappropriate as a heroine has nothing to do with the film's success or failure.
Keeping it aside, she is currently working on a few interesting projects. She is the heroine in the Mahesh-Trivikram project which will go on floors from June. Apart from that, she has a few Bollywood projects lined up too. She is rumored to be the heroine in Naga Chaitanya's next film with director Venkat Prabhu. There are reports claiming that she is going to be seen as the heroine in Vijay Deverakonda's next.
As it is known, Puri Jagannadh and VD announced 'Jana Gana Mana' as soon as they completed 'Liger'. While Ananya Pandey was the heroine in 'Liger', the makers are in search of a heroine who can appeal to the pan-Indian audience for 'JGM' too. The makers have reportedly considered Janhvi Kapoor for the role but she is looking for a star image in Bollywood first. Gossip suggests that the team are considering Pooja Hegde for the heroine's role beside Vijay Deverakonda. The talks are reportedly going on and we need to wait and see what happens in the coming days.
