In her latest interaction with media, Poonam Kaur opened up about the personal humiliation and trauma that she had to bear in the recent past in order to sustain in the film industry.
"I took a lot of mental and career-related damage recently. A few people tried to destroy my career, but I stood firm. These influential people deprived me of big film opportunities and they acted with vested interests.
I am taking inspiration from Sita Devi and Draupadi and waging an uphill battle against them." Poonam said in the interaction.
Adding further, Poonam said these influential people damaged her so very much that she could not even get married and had to stay back in India instead of leaving to the USA.
Poonam did not say any names but she is clearly pointing her fingers towards a few bigwigs in Telugu cinema.
