Actress Poorna aka Shamna Khasim made her debut in Tollywood with the film Sree Mahalakshmi. But she got recognition with Allari Naresh's Seema Tapakai. Later, she impressed with her acting in movies Avunu and Avunu 2. She also appeared in a song alongside Mahesh Babu in Srimanthudu.
According to the latest reports, this actress has bagged a golden offer in Tamil film industry. Poorna was roped in to play a crucial role in Suriya's upcoming film Kaappaan. But it is still unclear on what character is she portraying. Meanwhile, the film also features other stalwarts like Mohanlal, Arya, and Sayyeshaa.
Suriya will be seen as a chief security officer of the Prime Minister in the film. It is being directed by KV Anand and produced by Lyca Productions. It is slated to release in August as of now.
