Popular Actor Riyaz Khan who appears mostly in supporting roles and villainous roles in the films was attacked for asking people to maintain social distancing.
Due to the lockdown, Riyaz Khan has isolated himself with his family at his residence in Chennai.
According to the latest reports, while Riyaz was walking in the area, he found a group of people roaming on the street. With this, he advised them to maintain the social distance to stop the spread of the virus.
Instead of taking Riyaz's advice, people present at the place took offence and began arguing with him. They also tried to harm Riyaz and threatened to kill him.
On the work front, Riyaz signed to play an important role in Mani Ratnam's historical drama 'Ponniyin Selvan', and the shooting of the film was stalled due to the ongoing outbreak.
