No Hype For Hero Brothers

Kollywood star brothers Suriya and Karthi used to have a decent fan following in Tollywood as well. But it has been a long time since the duo brothers have scored a proper hit at the box office in Telugu.
Suriya's recent outing 'NGK' despite having heroines like Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh failed to impress the audience and ended up as a disaster at the box office just like his brother Karthi's recent outing 'Dev'. The duo heroes used to have decent outing in market in both the languages but the back to back debacles have dented the image in the Telugu film industry. Initially, the movies used to be minimum guarantee movies but now the audience are not at all showing interest in watching their films. These heroes are going to test their luck again with their upcoming movies. Karthi's upcoming movie 'Khaidi' and Suriya's next release 'Kappaan' (Telugu title is yet to be finalized) are slated to get released very soon. The back to back failures of these two heroes have been showing a bad impact on these two releases. Distributors are not coming forward to buy the movies.
If this situation continues, the producers might have to opt for unknown release. We have to wait and see if these two movies can rescue these hero brothers or not.
