Director Parasuram worked with mid-level heroes for a limited budget to date. After the super success of 'Geetha Govindam', many thought that he would be starting his next film immediately. He tried to lock films with two-star heroes. Stars like Mahesh Babu and Naga Chaitanya came forward to give chance to this director. He made a deal with Mythri Movie Makers to make a big-budget film with Mahesh and he accepted Naga Chaitanya's film under 14 Reels banner too. With Mahesh not giving his confirmation yet, there was news that he immediately started working on Chaitanya's film. Then the real drama began for this director.
With Mahesh shelving his project with Vamsi Paidipally, Parasuram came into the picture. Mahesh offered Parasuram a chance to make a film and Parasuram is left in dilemma.
