Posani Krishna Murali accepted the fact that drugs are supplied in Film Industry & few people have been addicted to it as well. He, however, clarifies the percentage of people relying on drugs is negligible.
Post the crackdown of drug racket, A section of media published reports saying drug menace is prevalent in Film Industry & it's on a very big scale. In response to such media reports, Posani said: 'Yes, There are people who supply drugs and who got addicted to it in the Film Industry. But, We had no clue who they are! Because of few individuals, The whole Industry has been blamed unnecessarily. So, I request everyone not to project the Industry as a den of drug addicts. In my opinion, Film Personalities are great...we have a great system here'.
The Writer-turned-Actor claims he had never seen drugs directly in his life. 'Just alike most of you, I had just seen them in TV and Paper. I won't drink liquor if it's not a special occasion. Not only the person who got addicted to drugs, but his entire family gets affected by it. Those who encourage you to inject/consume drugs are good for nothing…no damage will be done if you keep that aspect in mind'.
