Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao ruled Telugu Film Industry for decades. Chiranjeevi emerged as No.1 in the early 80s and there is no looking back for him for a period of 25 Years. Even though Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh have given some good hits, Megastar consolidated his position with terrific fan following and success rate.
After Chiru quit Film Industry, Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan appeared like strong contenders for No.1 Spot. But, the 'Baahubali' franchise has changed the equations in Tollywood. Not many would object to the statement that Prabhas could be the next King of Tollywood at present.
Of course, A lot depends on how Prabhas plans his career post 'Baahubali' phase. Openings of 'Saaho' will clear all the doubts. Until then, Let's be patient!!
