Prabhas postpones Salaar's shoot; Here's why

Prabhas is raring to deliver a box office blockbuster with his next film. He has already scored two back to back duds with Radhe Shyam and Saaho. His immediate next release might be Adipurush, which is slated for release on the 12th of January 2023.
Now, Prabhas has apparently delayed Salaar's shoot indefinitely as he underwent a surgery recently and is recovering from the same now.
Prabhas underwent the surgery at a foreign hospital and he is currently recovering from the same now. He has thus postponed Salaar's shoot indefinitely.
Prabhas will be back on the sets only after he fully recovers from the surgery and he doesn't know for certain when that will be. The star hero has decided to stay put at his house till he fully recovers from the surgery.
Prabhas will be resuming Salaar and Project K only after he is back to full fitness which might not be possible in the immediate few days. In the meanwhile, he is setting up a new project with Maruthi.
There are rumors that Anushka might be playing one of the female leads in Prabhas - Maruthi film which is in the early stages of production now.
