Prabhas reveals Untold Secret about Baahubali
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 Feb 2016 4:29 AM GMT'Baahubali' received Best Movie Of The Year award at the prestigious GAMA Tollywood Music Awards on Friday.
Upon receiving the award, Prabhas told: "If I start talking about Baahubali and Rajamouli, It takes 15 days to complete my speech. As I don't have that much time, I'm revealing one thing that I wanted to share from a very long time. We planned 'Baahubali' as a single part initially and Rajamouli informed the producers that it won't work commercially. Then, Jakkanna decided to plan a boxing-based flick with Prabhas. When Producers asked him 'what about Prabhas?', Rajamouli said: 'He is my best friend. I will take care of him'. But, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni who are very passionate about films asked Rajamouli to go ahead with 'Baahubali' and not to worry about budget. Producers deserve the credit and praises for taking such a huge risk. I'm so thankful these Producers".
If not for Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, Rajamouli wouldn't have attempted 'Baahubali' any time soon due to budget constraints. Kudos to the duo for making this happen!
