Prabhas to direct Aadis Venkatadri Express in Tamil

At a time when small budget flicks are finding it hard to even get a proper release in theatres, some films manage to find the light and also end up becoming sleeper hits. They also give out a strong message that if the content and entertainment is good, then audience always welcome it.
Sundeep Kishan Starrer Venkatadri Express was one such film which proved as Sleeper hit in Tollywood. The film is currently being remade in Kannada as Tirupathi Express with Suman and Kriti Kharbanda playing the lead roles.
Now, the news is that the film is getting remade into Tamil and Sundeeps role would be reprised by Aadi Pinisetty, son of noted filmmaker Raviraja Pinisetty. Aadi known to telugu audience with her roles in films like Oka V Chitram and Gundello Godari .The film shooting is all set to start soon.
Adharsha Chitralaya Pvt Ltd has acquired the Tamil remake of Telugu film Venkatadri Express. Aadhi Pinisetty will play the lead in the remake, read a statement.
Reportedly, Aadhis brother Sathya Prabhas, who has directed Yagavarayinum , is likely to helm this remake as well.The Telugu version was directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and Ramana Gogula scored the music of the film. It was produced by Gemini Kiran under Anandhi Art Creations Banner. So lets wait and see if the film can score the same result in the other industries too!
