Tamil Actor Prabhu Denies Testing Positive for Virus

As of now, several film actors across the country have been affected by the deadly virus and some expired too. For the past few days, there were rumours that Ilayathilagam Prabhu has been infected and is in quarantine.
The speculations started after Prabhu was absent at a memorial event at his house for his father the late Sivaji Ganesan's birth anniversary. The event was attended by the Deputy Chief Minister OPS and Minister Jaikumar.
As the rumours went rife, the actor came out to clarify that he was not tested positive for the virus. He said that he did not attend the event due to his sprained leg. When he was walking on the wet floor during the rain, he twisted his ankle.
On the work front, Prabhu is currently playing a pivotal role in the mega multistarrer 'Ponniyin Selvan' directed by Mani Ratnam.
