Prakash Raj, the typical character actor of South Cinema, decided to reduce the amount of films he will be acting in and started working more on his other passions in life, philanthropy and agriculture. The actor is also constantly planning to produce and direct movies as well.

The actor is now, shooting for Ram Charan Tej and Sukumar film. He last acted with Ram Charan in Govindudu Andarivadele and with Sukumar he worked in only film, Jagadam. In the movie, he played father of Ram Pothineni and since the movie did not become a success, we did not see both the director and actor coming together for another movie.
This Mythri Movie Makers film is said to be a period love drama set in Godavari villages during 1960's. We don't know yet what will be the character of Prakash Raj but the actor joined the shooting in the ongoing schedule in the city.
