Sai Tej and Maruthi Dasari came together for the first time and Geetha Arts produced the film. For Christmas holiday weekend, the movie released with heavy competition opposite Balakrishna's Ruler, Salman Khan's Dabangg 3 and Karthi's Donga.
Venky Mama released a week ago did not have any affect on the film, even though it is aiming at same demographic of audiences.
Movie took a decent opening and 10.72 crores share from Worldwide with 25th, 26th as big holidays during the first week and also, with holiday season beginning on a big scale, it will recover money for producers.
But can it last till Sankranthi at theatres? That is a big question mark that only time can answer. Looks like Sankranthi biggies will open to record breaking numbers for sure, as the public seems to be waiting for them.
