Sattaru's Slip Of Tongue Attracted Trolls
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 Jan 2018 8:52 AM GMTThere is a proverb in English.. 'Better the foot slip than the tongue', it is cent percent correct. We also witness this kind of things in real life as well. When it comes to the celebrities, they should be even more careful when they are speaking. In a recent development director Praveen Sattaru sensational comments about NRIs became a hot topic.
Praveen Sattaru recently participated in a directors roundtable conference conducted by a film critic. When they discussed piracy topic, Praveen Sattaru said that "People in the USA are notorious, they would order a 5 dollar pizza on Friday evening and download it and watch in TV, invite all the friends rather than going to a theater to watch a film."
Naturally, director's loose talk and referring NRI's as 'notorious' didn't go down well with the netizens. They started trolling him saying that his last film 'Garuda Vega' registered decent collections in Overseas but it could not collect the investment in India. So, how can he say that NRI's are notorious? It seems Sattaru should have told that 'some of the NRIs' rather than referring all the NRIs in his comments.
