Preity Zinta & Jet Airways blame each other

Preity Zinta is fuming at Jet Airways as she missed the flight to Delhi only because the airlines forgot to inform her about the boarding despite making her wait for one-and-a-half hours in the lounge due to delayed start. 'Thank You #JetAirways 4always being late, 4making me miss my flight today and making ur strongest supporter never wanting to fly with U again,' she wrote, apart from posting a screen shot of her ticket.

However, Jet Airways Spokesperson clarified Preity Zinta missed the Flight 9W 305 just because she was waiting for parcel to arrive at the airport. As the closure time neared, Preity was informed by the Airlines Staff to board the flight but she choose to wait for the parcel. Hence, Jet Airways offloaded her check-in bag and offered an alternative flight but she declined the offer.

Usually, Passengers need to look at the display boards at the boarding gate to know about the latest updates on arrivals & take-offs. But for VIPs, Airline Staff would take care of their check-in procedure, luggage and escort them to the lounge until the boarding time. Soon after the commencement of boarding, Airline Staff would inform the VIP about it.
