Preity Zinta Become The Covid Test Queen

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, which was scheduled to start in March, is taking place in the UAE six months late due to the high effect of coronavirus in India. The BCCI is taking great care that no one in the tournament gets infected with Covid.

Part of this, the matches are being played in empty stadiums without spectators. On the other hand, it created a bio-bubble atmosphere in order to keep players, players' family members, coaching staff and support staff safe and secure.

Everyone in the bio bubble is tested for the virus once every four days. Kings XI Punjab co-owner Preity Zinta, who went to the UAE for IPL 2020, was also recently tested. Preity tweeted on social media a video of herself where she can be seen giving samples for a Covid test.

In the video, Preity said that she has undergone coronavirus tests 20 times, so far, and joked that she have become the Covid Test Queen after undergoing tests like this.

Everyone asks me what does it mean being in the IPL team bio bubble. Well ! It’s starts with a 6 day quarantine, covid tests every 3-4 days and no going out - only ur room, designated #KXIP restaurant & gym & of course the stadium in ur car. The drivers, chefs etc are also in the bio bubble & quarantined so No food from outside & no people interaction. It’s tough if ur a free bird like me but then it’s 2020 & one must appreciate that #IPL is actually happening in the middle of a pandemic. I must thank #BCCI, the staff of KXIP & @sofiteldubaipalm for all their efforts in keep us safe & productive 🙏 #Grateful #pzipldiaries #Ipl2020 #Dream11 #Ting ❤️ @kxipofficial
