Preity Zinta's Near-Death Experience

At the India Today Conclave East 2018, Preity Zinta recounted the near-death experience she had way back in the year 2004.
On December 26th, 2004, A massive tsunami in the Indian Ocean killed over 2.27 lakh people in across 14 countries. During that period, Preity Zinta was holidaying in Pluket in Thailand along with her friends. Not many knew that the Bollywood Actress lost her close friends during that Tsunami. She was the only one to survive the deadly waves.
Preity Zinta changed a lot as a person after the near-death experience. That was one of the reasons why she decided to own an Indian Premier League franchise, Kings XI Punjab. Unfortunately, This IPL Franchise is yet to emerge as champions. It has been to the final but failed to win the title in any of the 11 Editions.
