'Nartanasala' is one of the old classics in Telugu. Kamalakara Kameswara Rao directed the film with a legendary star cast consisting of NTR, SVR, Savitri, Sobhan Babu, Mukkamala, Relangi etc. No Telugu movie lover will forget such a film. The audience were mesmerised by NTR's acting in a two shaded character as Arjuna and Bruhannala. Critics opine that nobody can match SVR's performance as Keechaka.

Coming to the present, 'Nartanasala' is going to be made in Telugu again as per the latest talk. The movie will not be a mythological film. ''Nartanasala' theme will be adopted into the social format suitable to present generation. The movie will be made as a full-length comedy and family entertainer as per the Film Nagar talk.
