Popular Bollywood Film Producer, Prerna Arora got arrested for making a fraud of Rs. 32 Crores. She had allegedly taken money from Vashu Bhagnani of Pooja Entertainment for the rights of some films.
Prerna Arora was arrested on Friday and will be in EOW custody till December 10. She had reportedly taken money from so many other investors as well. The Economics Offences Wing (EOW) of Mumbai has arrested her. She cheated film-maker Vashu Bhagnani promising some exclusive rights for a film. Including Bhagnani there are multiple investors and none of them were aware of her scam.
Vashu Bhagnani had claimed that he was given parallel rights for films "Fanney Khan" and "Batti Gul Meter Chalu" by Prerna Arora's company 'KriArj' Entertainment. He is yet to respond on this issue.
