The storyline of a man disguised as a woman can generate impeccable laughs when utilized properly. If the filmmakers can come up with scenes and storylines without crossing the limits, heroes surprising the audience as a woman will definitely.
Many of our stars took that risk in films and generated good laughs. Chiranjeevi did that in 'Chantabbayi' for a song. Kamal Hassan did many versatile roles in his career but his old woman get up in 'Chachi 420' is one of his memorable roles. Rajendra Prasad to entertained us as a woman teacher in 'Madam'. Heroes like Nandamuri Balakrishna and senior Naresh too woman roles in films like 'Pandurangadu' and 'Jamba Lakadi Pamba' respectively.
Nowadays, no young hero is daring to attempt these types of roles. While Tamil hero Siva Karthikeyan entertained as a female nurse in 'Remo', our Telugu heroes stayed way from doing this experiment. It may be because of the fear of not pulling it off or fear of their reputation or other issues but it will be good to see our actors breaking the mold and come up with something different sometimes.
