MAA Elections: President Post Contender CVL Unveils His Manifesto

Three actors Manchu Vishnu, Prakash Raj, and CVL Narasimha Rao have announced contesting the elections. Vishnu and Prakash Raj had already announced their manifesto and were actively campaigning for the elections.
Senior Actor-advocate CVL Narasimha Rao had announced his manifesto. Besides banking on the Telangana sentiment, the senior actor had listed out the election promises. He said he will address the media on his election manifesto in two to three days.
Talking about the implementation of the resolution that was passed in 2011, CVL said that this will help all the artists in getting chances. We have decided to constitute a committee with 50 members when the resolution gets passed. The names of the committee would be announced soon. Every member would get health insurance worth Rs 3 lakh every year and the amount for the same would be spent by MAA. The scheme would be implemented from next January, he said.
Giving more details, the senior actor said that every member would be given a chance in the Film Nagar Cultural Club. The pension amount would be increased to Rs 10,000 from the existing amount of Rs 6,000. The scheme that was announced 20 years back for lending a helping hand to women will be revived. The members of the Asara Committee would be announced soon. Any member can get the groceries by just giving a call, he added.
CVL Narasimha Rao is the latest contestant to announce his manifesto for the forthcoming elections. Prakash Raj and Manchu Vishnu are banking on the MAA building issue. But the actor had included a lot of promises in his new manifesto.
Prakash Raj and Manchu Vishnu who are fighting for the MAA President post have filed their nominations already. Manchu Vishnu filed his nomination by starting as a rally from his residence. Before filing his nomination, Manchu Vishnu paid tributes to the late director Dasari Narayana Rao and garlanded his statue with flowers.
