Already, Three Films were in race for Sankranthi 2017. All of them will be releasing on or in between January 11th to 14th for obtaining best results.
As of now, Makers of 'Khaidi No.150' are considering January 11th/12th/13th. Whereas, 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' will be releasing either on January 12th or 13th. 'Sathamanam Bhavathi', on the other hand, hits the screens depending on the release date of both the biggies.
Highly placed sources say, Distributors have been pressurizing Makers of 'Khaidi No.150' to ensure it should be the first among the Sankranthi release. Why because, Abundant availability of theatres and no competition would guarantee earth-shattering Day 1 revenue. They firmly believe this is the best option as huge money is at stake.
VV Vinayak, however, is a bit hesitant to release 'Khaidi No.150' prior to 'Gautamiputra Satakarni'. He trusts the sentiment, 'When Two Films clash at the Box Office, Mostly the one releasing late will have an advantage as the early bird will have to face the burden of huge expectations. Even if the second flick is slightly better than the first one, There could be a vast difference in the revenue'.
