A disappointing Dussehra for him!

In Telugu Cinema, comedy and comedians have always been the constant fixtures right from the early days. Even in the early days Relangi, Padmanabham, Chalam, Ramana Reddy, Chaya Devi, Girija, Suryakantham, Allu Ramalingayya, Raja Babu survived for many years as constant fixtures in many movies. After them Bhramanandam, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Babu Mohan, AVS, Tanikella Bharani, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, MS Narayana took their place. Now, many more have replaced them too.

The new comedians have been emerging all the time and after, Vennela Kishore, Priyadarshi who is pitted to be next big comedian in Telugu Cinema has come into prominence with Pelli Choopulu that released last year. Vennela Kishore has been a part of big films already but for Priyadarshi this is the first big Dussehra.

Even though his roles in both big films, Jai Lava Kusa and Spyder are crucial enough, he did not get as many laughs as he is expected too with them. In JLK, he had 10 minutes role in Lava's love story but due to old school writing he too could not evoke much laughter. While in Spyder he got a big role as the friend of the hero, his character did not have many punchlines to deliver rather than just be an assistant to what Mahesh commands. Well, even though he landed some big opportunities, he seems to have started his first Big Dussehra holiday, on a disappointing note!
