These days, Filmmakers are finding it very difficult to rope suitable female leads for Star-Studded Projects. This could be because of the scarcity of Top League Heroines and prior commitments of hotshot Beauties.
If sources are to be believed, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vidya Balan has been approached for the role of female lead in 'Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy'. However, None of them responded positively and they were more than happy to sign medium-budget female centric films in Bollywood.
Reports of Makers approaching Priyanka Chopra aren't true at all. Whereas, Sonakshi Sinha appeared to be frontrunner after Aish turned down the offer. Even this homely actress seems to be not interested in signing Chiru's flick though her father Shatrughan Sinha happens to be his friend. Finally, Makers pinned all hopes on Anushka Shetty and waited for her to complete her prior commitments.
