PeeCee says Indian Cinema needs change!
By: Tupaki Desk | 30 May 2017 7:49 AM GMTPriyanka Chopra popular referred to as PeeCee by her fans, started her career in Hollywood with big bang. She got all the publicity needed in the industry as she shared screen with the likes of Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. Also her TV series, Quantico has established her as a great beauty among the Hollywood makers.
With such success on foreign shores, the actress is finding Indian Cinema more routine and boring. She said, "Indian Cinema is slowing marching towards a change and I hope that stays. Going back to same old formula won't help Bollywood to stay in contention against Hollywood."
She herself once said, "It is commercial cinema that helps an actor in India to grow as a star and star in alternative cinema or new age cinema. No one can experiment with large sum of money just like that!"
We don't know what changed PeeCee that much but she learned to take everything positive. Regarding the negative reviews and strong comments regarding her portrayal in Baywatch, the actress said, " My fans are enjoying my performance and I had to shed many inhibitions to become a part of the movie." She made sure that she will continue being a part of Hindi Cinema but will look to balance Hollywood offers as well.
