Popular Marathi Actress Shruti Marathe spoke about the other side of the glamour field during an interaction session 'Humans Of Bombay'. 'A Producer who offered Me a role began using words like 'compromise' & 'one night'. Then, I questioned...if you want Me to sleep with you, then who are you making the Hero sleep with? He was left stunned. Quickly, I informed everyone about his indecent proposal. That's when he was asked to quit the project. That day, I stood up for every women,' she proudly claims.
Responding over the backlash she received for bikini sequence in a Tamil film, Shruti Marathe revealed she hadn't even thought about how its gonna be shot and was it really required for the subject when the proposal was brought by the Director. She admits trolling and objectifying had hurt her self-esteem.
Shruti feels people have the misconception that Actors lead a comfortable life. She adds, 'It's not true. We have bad days, but we can't show it and keep doing the job given to us'.
