Producer Natty Kumar Resigns For TFCC
By: Tupaki Desk | 12 Dec 2020 10:27 AM GMTProducer Natty Kumar has resigned as the Joint Secretary of the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce. He also resigned as a member of the Executive Committee.
Natty Kumar penned a letter to the TFCC on December 7 to this effect and released it to the media today.
In the letter, he alleged that even though the central and state governments had permitted to open theatres, the films were not being released in theatres due to some cine bigwigs. Theatre owners, distributors and theatre-dependent workers were delighted with the opening of the theatres, but they were deeply disappointed by the behaviour of some of the industry's big producers.
As far as he knows, some producers are looking to keep theatres closed until March 2021 for their own purposes. He also asked the TFCC President Narayana Das and Secretary Damu to conduct an emergency meeting to discuss these issues.
