As per the sources from TFI, the real reason for Mahesh walking out of Sukumar's film is that the ego that the director showed towards Mahesh.
The star gave him one whole year time to develop a script and then asked him to change it and tried to give him ample time for that too.
In the meantime, another director's storyline for Mahesh looked promising and he said he will work with whomever comes first.
This hurt Sukumar as he gave an Non-Baahubali Industry Hit and he tried to give an indication that he doesn't need to wait for Mahesh. In return, star decided to cancel the project entirely.
Now, Mythri Movie Makers who have been planning the project for one year have to wait for Allu Arjun and spend even more money on Sukumar's script.
