Puri Explains Why His Film With Chiru Did Not Happen!

Working with Megastar Chiranjeevi is a dream come true moment for any director who grew up watching his films. Dashing director Puri Jagannadh is no different as he wanted to work with the megastar for quite some time now. He has expressed this wish a lot of times during public events and interviews too.
Puri worked with Pawan Kalyan twice, Allu Arjun twice, introduced Charan and did a film with Varun Tej. He teamed up with most Mega heroes barring Chiranjeevi. A couple of years back, Puri narrated a script to Megastar and it was named 'Auto Jaani'. This film was supposed to happen but never went on floors. Fans and media often ask the 'Pokiri' director about this project.
Puri Jagannadh recently finished 'Liger' and proudly announced his next project with Rowdy hero Vijay Deverakonda again. This film is named 'Jana Gana Mana' and sources claim that it is the same script which was narrated to Mahesh Babu before. The film has been titled 'JGM' and the shooting is expected to kickstart in April.
When asked about his movie with Chiru, Puri explained that he narrated a pucca commercial script but the Megastar was looking for message-oriented commercial entertainers at that time. Seems like Chiru made the right choice.
Deverakonda expressed his confidence on Puri Jagannadh once again during the film launch. He revealed that Puri will be seen as an actor soon in a Chiranjeevi film.
Coming to 'Liger', sultry Bollywood beauty Ananya Pandey will be seen romancing Vijay in this flick and legendary boxer Mike Tyson is playing a key role. Vijay will be seen as a mixed martial arts fighter in this movie and he underwent a lot of training. Charmee along with Puri are jointly producing this high-budget film while Ramya Krishnan and Ronit Roy play crucial roles in 'Liger'. The cinematography is handled by Vishnu Sarma while Kecha from Thailand has composed the fights. There are high expectations on this movie and fans of Vijay are eagerly waiting for it for the past two years. Karan Johar is presenting this movie in Hindi and it is Vijay's official launch into Bollywood.
