Media has spoiled our lives : Puri Jagannadh

Director Puri Jaganndh is hitting the news headlines for the past few days related to the drugs issue which has sent ripples across the two Telugu states. SIT officials have quizzed the star director for nearly 10 hours yesterday in connection to the drug peddling case involving Calvin Mascarenhas & his gang. Puri was silent on the issue ever since his name surfaced after the Excise officials served notices to appear before them for investigation.
Finally, he has broken his silence and released a three minute video through twitter. He has clarified that he hs no connection with drug peddler Calvin. He said "I Went to SIT office today and the officials have questioned me for long related to the allegations against me. I have clearly told them that I don't have any connection with Calvin or his gang."
He said he has huge respect towards police and he will cooperate with him. He said he is ready to appear before them again if needed. He said that he made several films in the backdrop of police department.. he made 'Ism' out of his respect towards media. He said he had never done anything illegal..and he will not do in future. But Puri expressed his shock over how the TV channels telecasted continuous programmes on him. He said he has good rapport with the media personnel he was shocked to see turn against him with this kind of programmes.
While speaking about the pain caused by the media reports, he said "My mother, my wife, children.. entire family is disturbed. They are weeping for the past four day. Even others(Other celebrities who received notices) are going through similar situation. Media has spoiled our lives. They have telecasted programmes with cooked up information. He has concluded that SIT officials will decide if has done any mistake or not.
