Puri Jagannadh: The Man Who Never Gives Up!

There are a lot of directors who made it big in the film industry. There are a lot of directors who came out of nowhere and became stars. They take the film's result quite seriously and lose self-confidence when they get a flop. But then there is Puri Jagannadh who came to the industry like a common man and turned out to be one of the biggest directors of Tollywood just with his hard work and passion. Unlike others, Puri is unhindered by hits and flops, he loves cinema and continues his work no matter what.

Puri Jagannadh has a lot of fire in him which translates into the characters of his heroes. Puri's hero is known for his attitude, arrogance and reckless behavior but most of them speak the truth in a bold manner like no one does which is why they remain in everyone's hearts.

This dashing director completed 20 years in the film industry today. His first film 'Badri' starring Pawan Kalyan, Ameesha Patel and Renu Desai was released on April 20th, 2000. Despite cheating his way by telling a different storyline to Pawan initially, Puri made a striking debut with 'Badri'. Pawan Kalyan's confrontation scenes with Prakash Raj in this film are still memorable to every Pawan's fan.

He made four films like 'Itlu Sravani Subramanyam', 'Idiot', 'Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi' and 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu' with Ravi Teja, two super hits like 'Pokiri' and 'Businessman', two films 'Andhrawala' and 'Temper' with NTR, 'Bujjigadu' and 'Ek Niranjan' with Prabhas. He worked with most of the star heroes in Telugu and the one thing everyone says about Puri Jagannadh is that it is like a party to work with him. He is a man known for being free-spirited and completely focused on work. Every hero claim that they want to work with Puri Jagannadh again.

His racy narration, hard-hitting dialogues, and commercial storytelling are his biggest strengths and they earned him a separate fan base. After a series of failures, he gave a comeback with 'Ismart Shankar' and now he is making a Telugu and Hindi bilingual project with Vijay Devarakonda. Hope this dashing director does what he does best for another 25 years and entertain us.
