Mehbooba takes the first step.

Puri Jagannadh, you hate or you love him, you cannot ignore him. He is one of the most popular directors in Telugu Cinema. For him, his body of work early in his career has given him enough fans that he enjoys a star director status even after not being able to give out and out successful films post Neninthe. He did make Businessman and Temper, but they did not became as successful as his Pokiri or Desamuduru. He has been looking for one big hit with different actors but disasters are not leaving his side.

Now, he decided to change his story and making style with Mehbooba. He is introducing his son, Akash Puri as a hero with the movie. It is a 1971 Indo-Pak war based love story and he wants to make it as big and as intense a love story can be, delivering him and his son, good success. Neha Shetty is being introduced as the heroine with this movie. Charmee Kaur, the executive producer of the movie, posted a pic of both the young actors leaving to Himachal Pradesh and commented that the first step in the making of Mehbooba is taken.

The movie shooting will start in Himachal Pradesh and then movie to Rajasthan and Punjab. Puri Jagannadh wants the movie to be told in a completely fresh style and he has even conducted a workshop for both the young actors to face the camera in characters. The first posted of the movie has already created an interest in the audience and if he nails with teaser and trailer, definitely the team will be able to deliver a success. Sandeep Chowta, is scoring music for Puri Jagannadh after Super and Bujjigadu for this movie. We expect another huge blockbuster audio from the combination.
