A lot of Directors have the feeling that Mahesh Babu will be ready to work with them only if they are on success track. Earlier, Teja disclosed about this angle in the Superstar. And now, Puri Jagannath didn't mind expressing the same opinion.
During the pre-release promotions of 'iSmart Shankar', Puri Jagannath was asked when he gonna be doing his dream project 'Jana Gana Mana'. This is how the Crazy Filmmaker reacted: 'I wish to do that film...will do it certainly'.
Quizzed if it will be with Mahesh Babu, Puri replied: 'As you asked, I am speaking what's there in my heart. Even when I am in flops, I keep receiving messages from Mahesh Fans asking Me to do 'Jana Gana Mana' with their favourite hero. Fans show admiration on Me as I had delivered two good films with Mahesh Babu. But, They don't realise that Mahesh would work with Me only if I am delivering hits. I always wanted to say I like Mahesh Fans more than Mahesh...at least they show so much faith in me'.
When the Anchor said he might receive a call from Mahesh if 'iSmart Shankar' become a hit, Puri made it clear: 'When would I say okay in such a situation...even I have a character'.
