Fights Are Fine! What About The Story?
By: Tupaki Desk | 16 Jan 2020 6:07 AM GMTWe are aware that dashing director Puri Jagannadh and crazy young hero Vijay Devarakonda are making a movie together. Puri is planning to make it a pan-Indian film as Vijay's fame crossed regional boundaries. As Vijay's last few outing were disappointing, he pinned a lot of hopes of Puri's flick.
This film is tentatively titled as 'Fighter' and Devarakonda is undergoing Martial Arts training in Bangkok. The film's producer Charmee recently posted a video where she speaks with the fight master Kaecha. He said that Vijay is rigorously training for six hours every day along with his team. He added that the fights will be a never before experience for the audience.
Having extraordinary fights are good but more emphasis should be on the story which is clearly lacking in Puri Jagannadh's films these days. Though 'Ismart Shankar' ending up as a blockbuster, there was nothing new in terms of the story. Also, Vijay is facing a lot of criticism these days for becoming monotonous and repeating his 'Arjun Reddy' act in all his films. So, it is better is Puri & Co focus more on the story this time.
