Why Mahesh Babu is making HIM wait?

Mahesh Babu-Puri Jagannath make a hit combo. They delivered a blockbuster like 'Pokiri' and decent hit 'Businessman' already. Fans have been waiting for their hat-trick project since few years.
Some time ago, Puri revealed that his next project is going to be with Mahesh Babu. On Mahesh's Birthday, He even unveiled a poster with title 'Jana Gana Mana'. However, There is no update about the project thereafter.
When quizzed about it, Puri replied, 'I had narrated a subject to Mahesh Babu and he liked it. I am ready to start shoot if he is ready. But, There is no communication from him since then. What should I do? I'm waiting for his answer'.
Why would Mahesh keep Puri waiting if he is so busy with other projects? Notably, Superstar okayed Koratala Siva and Vamsi Paidipally's films already. So, The call sheets were blocked at least till Summer 2018. Puri has to complete his other commitments in the meantime.
