Puri Jagannath has got the reputation of doing 3-4 films in a calendar year. At the same time, He is blamed for the poor success rate but still no lessons have been learnt by the Filmmaker so far.
'Rogue' which is the launch pad of Ishaan bombed miserable at the Box Office. In USA, It managed to collect just $330 dollars in the first four days. What would be Puri's explanation for the dismal performance?
Needless to say, Puri is one of the Star Directors in TFI. His remuneration is anywhere between Rs 4 to 11 crore depending on the budget of the movie. Doesn't his pay package justifies the revenue generation of his movies? None of his movie collected a share of over Rs 45 crore till date. 'Temper' which was his last hit is his career-best grosser. All the movies which released later failed to set the cash registers ringing. And, Puri scored hat trick flops with Jyothi Lakshmi, Loafer and Rogue. What would be the fate of Balayya-starrer?
