Puri Promises A Brand New Story For Megastar!

As we all know, dashing director Puri Jagannadh is longing to make a film with Megastar Chiranjeevi for a long time now. While Megastar was in search of a script for his 150th film, Puri narrated a story titled 'Auto Jaani' and it grabbed the attention of the public. Reports came out that Chiru liked the first half and asked Puri to make some modifications in the second half. But things did not go as planned and Megastar went with 'Kaththi' remake.
But the prospect of 'Auto Jaani' happening was still on the cards. The 'Pokiri' director recently played a brief role in Chiru's recent outing 'Godfather' which is running successfully in theatres. As a part of promotions, Puri interviewed Megastar online and it was quite an enjoyable session. Puri asked many questions regarding 'Godfather' and Chiru answered every one of them. Megastar even motivated Puri and asked him to bounce back as soon as possible after a debacle like 'Liger'.
Megastar even asked what happened to 'Auto Jaani' and Puri asked Chiru to forget about 'Auto Jaani' and promised that he will be coming with an even better script within no time. Chiru replied that he is eagerly waiting for it. People are very eager to see a movie in the Chiru-Puri combination. We need to see whether it happens or not.
Puri Jagannadh's last outing 'Liger' which he made for three years ended up being a disaster. This Puri Jagannadh's directorial was promoted very heavily before the release and the team looked very confident which made the expectations rise. But the film bagged negative talk right from the premieres and failed to impress the audience at any point. No one could believe that a highly talented duo like Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda could come up with such a lackluster film.
